Thank you Yelland Digital!

You may have noticed that in recent weeks our site has started to see new improvements – this is primarily down to our site being taken over by Yelland Digital, who has implemented new features, fixed lots of broken pages and rebuilt the site to get it functional again.

This work (and the ongoing hosting, maintenance, and  support behind the scenes) has been generously volunteered by Yelland Digital, a Norwich-based web design and support service. We’re very grateful for the time and expertise given to a charity our size, and we now have a single, accountable point of contact looking after the site going forward.

What’s Changed

Here’s a quick round-up of what’s new and what’s been fixed:

• A Facebook feed on the Latest page – so you can see our latest posts and photos without having to leave the site.
• Past Productions, sorted out – we’ve added shows that were missing, brought the page up to date with our most recent productions, and added adjudication reports and programmes for each show, so you can look back on what we’ve performed over the years.
• New pages for KYDS Voices, Big KYDS and the Winter Fayre – these now have their own proper pages, making it much easier to find out what they are and what’s happening.
• A working joining form – if you’ve been trying to join KYDS, the form on the site is now fixed and working properly.
• A cookie consent banner – so it’s clear what the site does and doesn’t do with your information when you visit.
• A faster, more reliable, and more secure site overall– behind the scenes, the site now loads quicker, is backed up properly, and is much better protected than before.
