We’re looking for some more fantastic local makers, crafters and small businesses to join us at the KYDS Winter Fayre

We’ve already got some lovely sellers joining us, including wax melts, paper flower decorations and Tropic skincare… but we’d LOVE to add even more variety! 🎁

Open to those aged 11 (and at secondary school) – 18 and leaving college. We rehearse Thursday evenings, and Sunday afternoons.

KYDS are looking for stall holders for our newly announced KYDS Winter Fayre on Saturday 7th November.

The KYDS Winter Fayre is a fantastic community event, bringing together local businesses, crafters, makers and stall holders for a festive day of shopping, entertainment and fun — all while raising money to support KYDS Youth Drama Society.

Whether you sell handmade gifts, festive treats, unique products, crafts, clothing, homeware or something a little different, we’d love to hear from you!

Stall prices have been held at the same rate as last year, and all applications are considered to help us create a varied and exciting selection of stalls for our visitors.

As a small team organising the event, we ask everyone interested in taking part to complete the form in the first instance. We’ll then review applications and get back to successful stall holders with details of how to confirm their place.

🎭 WE'VE GOT SPACE FOR NEW MEMBERS!🎉

This doesn't happen very often... but right now, KYDS is open for new members!

If you've ever thought about joining us, now is the perfect time.

We're looking for young people who:
⭐ Are 11+ and of secondary school age (so not Year 6 at primary school)
⭐ Can commit to rehearsals on Thursday evenings and Sunday afternoons.
⭐ Love performing, making new friends and being part of something special!

At KYDS, we usually produce two full-scale shows every year (usually June and November), but we're so much more than just a drama group.

✨ We've been running since 2009
✨ We take part in the Jack Petchey Achievement Award Scheme
✨ We organise social events, theatre trips and workshops with industry professionals
✨ We're run entirely by volunteers, creating a supportive environment where everyone pitches in
✨ Most importantly... we're not just a drama group – we're a family ❤️

Designed for young people aged 11–17, KYDS Creatives gives you the chance to be part of the production team and learn what really goes into putting on a show. You'll get hands-on experience with:

Last night we were privileged to welcome Deputy Lieutenant Fergus Howie to our opening night production of The Wizard of Oz.

He braved the heat, and thankfully it was relatively cool in the hall.

We are so grateful that he took the time to visit us, and chat to some of our cast members after the show.

Thank you Deputy Lieutenant Howie, we hope to welcome you again in the future.
